Respecting the notorious rule of Emperor Justinien and Empress Theodora, Fatih illuminates an artful depiction worthy of noble adoration. Together upon the talisman, the couple sits in matching attire, wearing a similar expression. The fine brow of Justinien is skillfully illustrated next to his Empress, noticeable in her own minute distinction. Above their thrown enclosed in high karat gold, are small, textured cups of the precious metal. The concavity of the cup slowly collects to reveal a diamond at its core. Exceptional to study and a further pleasure to adorn, the piece is a beautiful composition, telling of the strong, dynamic partnership the pair served during their reign in ancient Byzantium.
